Christmas

Christmas was good to us again this year. My parents have moved to town now, so it was even better because we didn't have to travel anywhere! It also worked out that the kids stayed the night at Grandma's house, so we painted our upstairs hallway floor, the stairs, the front entrance... it was a productive couple of days.

Here are just a few of our Christmas pictures.

Tom, concentrating on something (I think someone is opening the box of lego?)
Will, planning something devilish.
Everyone getting in on the lego assembly.
My mom, Tom, and I on Christmas morning.
Tom trying to guess what is in the package. He's not good at guessing yet.
Tom and Will checking out the box for the Hot Wheels race track.
There was definitely "some assembly required" for these race tracks! But it paid off in the end to see the kids play with them.
The next two pictures are just here because I think it's crazy how much these kids can look like each other, when for the most part they look very different. Here's Will:
And here's Tom:
Christmas Eve cookies at Grandma's house!
We also went to Alight At Night, at Upper Canada Village this year. We went last year, too! It is truly one of Eastern Ontario's best attractions. This is the kids on the toy train ride.
Our first snowfall was a big one - we still have the snow from it! We also had the opportunity to make a snow man, or, rather, the kids and their dad made a snowman, and I was in the house whipping up hot chocolate!
