Our current goal is to have the kids understand that we don't get gifts ALL THE TIME. We don't shop for toys every time we go out. It's hard - we'd love to buy them dinky cars every time, but we need to teach them that you can't always get what you want. Maybe we need to start listening to the Rolling Stones more. Anyway, we have been getting back to normal after Christmas, and everyone is well.
This was quite cute: after a shower one evening Tom and Will had to put on housecoats because Dad had a housecoat on. They all sat on the couch and read books in their housecoats.
This is Will's tongue. He's pretty proud of it.
