Since we still have no snow in Glenburnie (much like the rest of the province) we decided to go to the snowy spot - Orillia. And boy do they have snow! They are hoarding it. The snowbanks are taller than our car, and that's just how the kids like them. This was Will's first time in the snow, but Tom is an expert. We still found some new "firsts" for him though.
Here's Tom's first snowman, unoriginally named Frosty.

Tom loves for me to get a workout, so he has me drag him around the yard on the sled.

I can't believe the amount of snow they have!

Some of you may know the story of Wendy the Hard-Ass, who threw Dana in a snowbank when he was about 3 years old. He was in his jammies. In her defense, she said "do it again and I'll throw you in the snowbank", and in typical Dana style, he did it again. I'm sure she felt a twinge of nostalgia as she threw Tom into the snowbank, but he was in full outdoor gear, and he was loving it.

This is Will, loving the snow. I think. He was a little indifferent, to be honest.

We were in Orillia for the Santa Claus parade, which was good because the kids were positively squirrelly for the Kingston parade so we didn't go. Grandpa was in the parade, and stopped the parade to say hi to Tom. The other kids on the street were a little jealous.

Here's what Will thought of Grandpa's appearance in the parade.

Awwwe, isn't Will cute? He's looking at me sideways. Tom loved to do this, and Will thinks it's funny some times. He doesn't do it even half as much as Tom did at this age. It's funny how the kids are the same but different.

Pursing his lips. Maybe he's mad, maybe he's eating a cheerio. Hard to tell.

Definitely not mad here.
