Hanging out at home

We have been spending a lot of time at home lately (I think the kids are happy to not be in the car every day anymore.)  In these first pictures, we were killing time before bed.  It's funny how a clothes basket is a magnet for little kids!

Will is pretty cute in this one.
Tom told me they were kittens in a basket, so I made them a sign.

It's a good thing they are too heavy to carry to the end of the driveway!!

This next batch of pictures was taken June 1.  Global warming?  If we're wearing touques in June, I think we're still doing OK.  The kids are enjoying playing in the back yard, and at least the cold weather keeps the bug population in check.

We built a new bridge over the stream this year - the old one was badly rotted and got to the point that we were afraid to use it!  In the course of digging in the yard, Straub found some large timbers that he used as the structure for the bridge, so this one should last a long time.
And here's Tom, enjoying the stream and all it's wonders (from the other side, now that we have a stable bridge!!)
